in order to keep a healthy environment, your air filters  on your forced air heating and cooling unit and water filters  for your kitchen fossett and refrigerator need to be changed on a regular basis. Refrigerator filters: need to be changed every 6 to 12 months depending on the manufacturers recommendations. Filters for your kitchen sink drinking water also need to be changed every 6 to 12 months according to your manufacturers recommendations. o Fossett aerator: The fossett aerator is the small device located on the end of the fossett spout. it is made up of screens and diverter’s.  It tends to get plugged up from sediment in the city water and generally plugs up when the water has been turned off. These devices need to be cleaned at least once a year or  shortly after the water has been turned off.  this will ensure that order to maintain a steady water pressure.  Filters for your heating and cooling units. o  Filters for your forced air heating unit should be changed every 12 months. o  If you’re forced air heating unit includes air-conditioning, the filter should be changed every 6 months. o  Window and freestanding air-conditioners filters should be changed or cleaned every 6 months. o  Box fans and rotating fans should be cleaned each season before used.

The hoses should be inspected every 12 months  and washers changed if necessary. o Lint and dust should be cleaned out from underneath the washing machine to help preserve the life of the unit. o There are screens inside the water hoses that need to be cleaned every 12 months or shortly after the water has been turned off on the house this will ensure good water pressure and flow for the filling of the unit. Maintenance for the dryer: Many fires are caused from a build up of lint in the vent hose of the household dryer. o The dryer vent hose and vent door should be inspected every 12 months to ensure that it is free from lint. o  Lint and dust should be cleaned from underneath the dryer to help prevent fire and preserve the life of the unit.
